Today, Hana and Iza presented their topic "Understanding distance education learners". First, I'm glad to say that their presentation was interesting with good presentation.
Regarding the topic, I also read Michael Simonson and Sharon Smaldino book's, They summarized that one common characteristic of the distance learner is an increased commitment to learning. For the most part, these learners are self-starters and appear to be highly motivated.
For the Wikispaces, Dr. Tee asked us " What happened to Wikispaces?".. That means we have to know how to make it LIVE!!

Wan, thanks for sharing. I would still like to see more meta-cognition -- describing and evaluating your thinking/understanding of the topics being covered.
