DE is 2- way communication (between teacher and student). Student still need a teacher as a guide in learning process. Because of separation between both of them, technical media is use to unite them. Technical media might be video conference, wikispaces, television,telephone, etc.
According to Toni Steffensen Pauls from Northwest State Community College, DE is not a new phenomenon, however with the recent advances in technology more institutions are beginning to offer Web Based Instruction via the internet.
For presentation, I and Zamiah will present on "Today's technology and a vision for the future".We need to refer chapter 4.
